SCADA is an acronym for supervisory control and data acquisition, a control system architecture that uses computers, networked data communications, and graphical user interfaces for high-level process supervisory management. The centralized system monitors and control entire sites ranging from a single RTU to an industrial plant. SCADA Systems operate by communicating signals via channels to provide the user remote access to the equipment.
